Dancers age is determined by age as of January 1, 2027. 

(i.e. if dancer is currently 6 and turns 7 on November 2nd, 2025 they will audition with the 7-9  year olds)

Wednesday, June 3rd 

  • Ages 5 - 8 | 5:00pm - 6:15pm

  • Ages 8 - 10 | 6:30pm - 8:00pm

  • Agest 6 - 10 Solo Auditions | 8:00pm-9:00pm

Thursday, June 4th

  • Ages 11 - 18 | 5:00pm - 7:30pm

  • Ages 11- 18 Solo Auditions | 7:30pm-8:30pm

Group Audition = $30.00
Solo Audition = $5.00

GIRLS - 

  • Black Leotard

  • Tan Tights

  • Black Boy Shorts (optional)

  • Hair Pulled Back in Clean Bun

BOYS-

  • Black T-Shirt

  • Black Shorts

  • Hair Clean & Off Face

DANCER EXPECTATIONS:

  • Dancers will learn 1 or 2 combinations taught during the audition time. They will then perform the combination for our judges

    • Dancers Ages 5 - 6 (first year auditioing)

      • Should be barefoot or in jazz shoes

      • Will Learn 1 Simple Combination

    • Dancers Ages 6 & Up (returning team members)

      • Will be expected to audition for various styles and should bring all dance shoes

      • Will be asked to perform skills across the floor

      • Will Learn 2 Combinations

  • During the audition our judges will be looking at dancers ability to perform, adaptability, individuality, personality and overall technique/skills

  • Prior to auditions a form will be sent for dancers to indicate which groups/specialties they are interested in.  Indicating interest does not mean they will automatically be selected.  

    • Group Styles:​

      • Jazz​ (ages 5 & up)

      • Tap (ages 5 & up)

      • Open/Acro (ages 5 & up)

      • Production (ages 5 & up)

      • Hip Hop (ages 6 & up)

      • Contemporary/Lyrical (ages 6 & up)

      • Musical Theater (ages 8 & up)​

    • Specialties:

      • Returning team members can audition for a specialty routine.

      • Specialties include:​

        • Solos​

        • Duets

        • Trios

      • Dancers will be asked to show additional skills during their audition if they are interested in a duet/trio.

      • Dancers interested in auditioning for a solo will have a separate audition time.  They will need to prepare a 30sec​​​ audition piece and are required to bring their own music for the audition.

  • Once ​auditions are completed, dancers will be notified if they have made the All-Stars Team.  An informational meeting will be held shortly after and dancers will be notified which groups and specialties they have been selected for.
