EXPECTATIONS:      

• Dancers will learn 1 or 2 combinations taught during the audition time. They will then perform the combination for our judges

  • Dancers Ages 5 - 6

    • Should be barefoot or in jazz shoes

    • Will Learn 1 Simple Combination

  • Dancers Ages 7 & Up

    • Will be expected to audition for various styles and should bring all dance shoes

    • Will be asked to perform skills across the floor

    • Will Learn 2 Combinations

• During the audition our judges will be looking at dancers ability to perform, adaptability, individuality, personality and overall technique/skills

• Prior to auditions a form will be sent for dancers to indicate which groups/specialties they are interested in.  Indicating interest does not mean they will automatically be selected.  

  • Group Styles:​

    • Jazz​ (ages 5 & up)

    • Tap (ages 5 & up)

    • Open/Acro (ages 5 & up)

    • Production (ages 5 & up)

    • Hip Hop (ages 6 & up)

    • Contemporary/Lyrical (ages 7 & up)

    • Musical Theater (ages 10 & up)​

  • Specialties

    • Returning team members can audition for a specialty routine.

    • Dancers will be asked to show additional skills during their audition if they are interested in a specialty.

    • Specialties include:​

      • Solos​

      • Duets

      • Trios

• Once ​auditions are completed, dancers will be notified if they have made the All-Stars Team.  An informational meeting will be held shortly after and dancers will be notified which groups and specialties they have been selected for.
